TreePress is a new family tree plugin built for use on WordPress websites.

The plugin is free to download from the WordPress plugin repository at www.wordpress.org/plugins/treepress plus there is a premium upgrade that gives users additional features.

Free users can add up to 200 family members to a family tree and display this, plus a detailed family ‘report’ page on their websites.

The plugin is designed to easily enable family history enthusiasts to share their research in a visually appealing way.  Users can mouse over each family member and click on links to show more detailed reports.

Premium users can add pictures, unlimited family members and add more advanced styling (such as changing the background and box colours, adding rounded corners etc).  Premium users also have the ability to import and export family history data in the standard .ged format.

The plugin is currently available in English, Spanish, Russian, French, Turkish and Chinese (Hong Kong) versions with more translations planned.
