You can use family groups to define which members will appear in a family tree. Multiple Groups are available in the Premium versioin of the plugin.
You do not have to use these Groups to define a particular family or name them after an individual family – for example, you might just want to display one line or a few generations of a lineage in a family tree and you could create a Group called ‘Tree01’ or ‘Johns Children’ to display this set of people in their own tree. The ID in the ID column can be used in combination with shortcodes to define particular trees.
Go to the TreePress sidebar menu item and select ‘Family Groups’.
